Location: Paris, France

Contract: Apprenticeship of 24 months

PUR Description

PUR is a global B Corp helping companies act for climate, nature and people through nature-based projects.

Since 2008, we have worked with leading companies to restore ecosystems, support farmers and communities, and build more resilient supply chains. Our projects include agroforestry, regenerative agriculture, reforestation, and ecosystem restoration, across more than 30 countries.

We work closely with local partners, farmers, cooperatives, NGOs and businesses to design projects that are adapted to each landscape and community. This local approach is key to creating long-term impact — for the climate, biodiversity, soil, water, and livelihoods.

Today, PUR has more than 200 team members across 16 countries, with key offices in Paris and Toronto. As the world faces growing climate and biodiversity challenges, PUR is helping global companies move from ambition to action.

About the role

PUR is looking for a Communication & Events Manager apprentice to support the Marketing & Communications team in bringing PUR’s story, expertise and impact to life across events, content and sales enablement.

This is a hands-on role combining strategy and execution, offering strong exposure to international B2B marketing, sustainability, event management, and content development.

You will help increase PUR’s visibility and impact at key climate and sustainability events, while contributing to high-quality content for clients, partners, and internal teams.

The role requires strong project management skills, excellent English, curiosity and rigor, and the ability to work with diverse stakeholders across the organization.

You will have real responsibility and autonomy, with close support and mentoring from the Director.

Your responsibilities will be, but not limited to:

Events management

  • Support the definition and execution of PUR’s annual events strategy and calendar.

  • Help maximize PUR’s presence and impact on key industry, climate, and nature events.

  • Coordinate event participation (objectives, attendees, success metrics).

  • Support the organization of client events, roundtables, field visits and webinars.

  • Manage event logistics (venues, invitations, speakers, agendas, suppliers, budgets).

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure events drive business and relationship objectives.

  • Track budget, performance, and post-event insights.

Content & communications management

  • Support the execution of PUR’s social media and editorial calendar (LinkedIn focus).

  • Draft and publish content aligned with PUR’s positioning and tone of voice.

  • Contribute to thought leadership content (articles, case studies, webinars, newsletters).

  • Coordinate content development with internal experts and external partners.

  • Translate complex technical topics into clear, engaging content.

  • Support the development of commercial and client-facing materials.

  • Monitor market trends and content performance.

Requirements

We are looking for someone with:

  • Enrolled in a master's degree in marketing, communication, events, or similar.

  • Strong interest or first experience in communications, content, events or marketing

  • Good project management and multitasking skills

  • Excellent writing and synthesis abilities

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse stakeholders

  • Proactive, curious and eager to learn, especially on sustainability topics

  • Organized, detail-oriented and comfortable in a fast-paced environment

  • Fluent in English (French is a plus)

We are looking for someone who wants to be trusted with real responsibility, enjoys autonomy, and is excited to learn through close collaboration and mentoring.

Recruitment Process:

  1. First interview with HR

  2. Case study interview with the Marketing & Communications Director

  3. Reference check and offer
