Job Description

Job Purpose:

The role combines general maintenance duties with oversight of on-site security operations. This role will be responsible for maintaining the building and facilities to a safe and operational standard, while also supervising security personnel and supporting the safety and security of the premises.

Key Result Areas:

1. Safety & Compliance - Follow health and safety standards; ensure regulatory compliance and inspection the safety equipment monthly.

2. Maintenance & Repairs - Complete minor repairs promptly; maintain all common area equipment in good condition.

3. Security Oversight Supervise security staff and respond to incidents.

4. Reporting-Keep accurate records; report issues to the CJP Manager.

General:

Responsible for ensuring the overall upkeep, safety, and security of the premises. This includes performing routine maintenance and minor repairs, supervising security operations, complying with health and safety regulations, and maintaining accurate records and reporting to management. This role supports smooth daily operations and a safe environment for all occupants.

Key Qualifications:

1. Knowledge of security protocols, regulations, and safety procedures.

2. Ability to supervise and manage security staff effectively.

3. Proven experience in a maintenance/handyman role.

4. Strong communication skills to engage with staff, guests, and other departments. Including attention to detail and organizational skills.

5. Ability to investigate and document incidents such as theft, accidents, and other irregularities.

6. Previous experience in a security-related position or supervisory capacity preferred.

7. Have good English communication skills both in written and spoken.
