What's the VIE Forvia Program all about?
The VIE Program of Forvia is an international young graduate program, which enables young graduates native from the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland) aged between 18 and 28 to work for one of our subsidiary around the world!

What will be your main missions?
Our Interiors North America Division is looking for a Commodity Buyer VIE - Metal & Mechatronics to be based at its headquarters of Puebla, Mexico.

The Commodity Buyer VIE - Metal & Mechatronics is responsible for supporting the deployment of the Metal & Mechatronics commodity strategy by managing assigned suppliers, sourcing activities, negotiations and performance across cost, quality and delivery.

• Manage assigned suppliers, including RFQs, negotiations and sourcing activities.
• Monitor supplier performance regarding cost, quality, delivery and supply continuity.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities, analyse market trends and anticipate supplier risks.
• Coordinate with Programs, Engineering, Quality, Logistics and Plants, including regular supplier visits and progress reporting.

The mission will last 1 year and could be extended of 1 additional year (total of 2 years).

Your profile and competencies to succeed

What you need to join us?

• English language is mandatory as you will be speaking with people from all over the world.
• Master’s degreeEngineering diploma in purchasing
• Minimum 2-3 years purchasing experience. (Automotive preferred / capital preferred)
