About the Team

Our Commodity Energy team within the Non Production Materials Procurement is responsible for steering global energy procurement across the organization. As a multinational team of 12 colleagues, we combine diverse perspectives with a young, dynamic spirit. Collaboration, open communication, and strong mutual support define the way we work. What you can look forward to as a Commodity Buyer Energy and Raw Material AP:

• Develop and implement regional energy purchasing strategies aligned with global commodity strategy.
• Track, negotiate, and support execution of local energy supply contracts
• Lead Green Power Frame Agreement negotiations and act as interface between local plants and global teams.
• Support ordering and cancellation processes of green power certificates.
• Handle energy-related CAPEX projects and cost-saving initiatives (PV, battery storage, transformers).
• Conduct RFQs, price comparisons, supplier negotiations, and sourcing decisions.
• Manage supplier relationships including onboarding, development, and performance monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with purchasing guidelines, audits, and governance requirements.
• Maintain accurate purchasing data, reporting, and forecasting (price and volume).
• Collect and process energy invoice data for global reporting systems.
• Act as backup for Steel Purchasing AP

Your Profile as a Commodity Buyer Energy and Raw Material AP:

• Minimum 2 years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in energy sector or indirect purchasing (NPM) preferred.
• Understanding of purchasing processes and supply chain principles.
• Strong analytical, execution, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
• Fluent in Mandarin & English.
• Proficiency in MS Office and SAP.
