SIMEA Sibiu carries out production activities of electronic equipment and systems, of low to medium complexity and with an increased manual processing part. The company is involved in the generation of innovative solutions in the field of design and manufacturing of electronic products, support services within its strong competencies: product development (PLM), logistics and production.

Join our Procurement team as a Local Commodity Manager for electronic raw materials.

You’ll make an impact by

· Manage complex and heterogeneous Commodities in Electronics.

· Be an active member of the SIMEA Sibiu Material Strategy Team. Build and develop a future oriented material field and sustainability strategy with a global cross-functional team.

· Portfolio management: Identify and develop local, national and international suppliers. Professionally prepare and lead negotiations and work on productivity measures to improve the competitive situation.

· Drive forward a future orientated supplier management to ensure best supplier qualification and future technologies for Siemens products

· Identifying relevant procurement risks/opportunities and market trends to create the best procurement strategy for the business. Apply proactive risk management in your daily work

· Innovation management: Proactively contribute to strategically important make or buy decisions by ensuring the purchasing view plays a fundamental role to develop the SIMEA Sibiu portfolio and setup.Innovation scouting is part of the job and trends like future semiconductors and sustainable products have a strong influence on these commodities.

· Leadership and network building:Orchestrate a material strategy team. Foster strategic supplier partnerships and ensure a suitable contractual basis. Ensuring good cooperation with internal clients.

This is how you'll win us over 

· Relevant experience in strategic procurement of electronic components

· The base of your success is a bachelor or master´s degree in engineering or economics combined with several years of working experience, e.g. in strategic purchasing, production / production engineering, or R&D.

· With your seniority, resilience, and strong technical interest, you embrace responsibility with passion and demonstrate a high degree of initiative and business orientation.

· You are a strong negotiator with extensive experience in contract management. Project management skills would further improve your profile. Good MS Office and SAP experience.

· You are accustomed working within global, intercultural and cross-functional teams and Innovations (digitalization, data analytics, process improvements) are your passion and you also drive them forward independently.

· To achieve your goals, follow new ways and employ modern approaches and be open for the change.

· Enjoying taking on responsibility and having a high degree of initiative and business orientation will help you in an innovative business environment

· For ideal communication in an international environment, you are proficient in Romania and English.
