The team you will be a part of:

The Procurement team identifies researches and evaluates suppliers that meet the organization's standards of price, quality, timing, and reliability of supply. Recognizes and evaluate sales, promotional campaigns, and other opportunities to secure reduced prices. Assesses supplier's products to ensure that they comply with specifications and meet the organization's quality standards.

Product Management Team, Engineering, Target Costing Team, Supply Chain Team, Finance, Marketing, Supplier Quality

External:
Suppliers

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible for developing strong relationships with key stakeholders within the corporate and factory levels and to execute strategic sourcing for commodities to drive value and significantly impact bottom-line profitability.
  • Develop detailed strategic approach to manage Strategic Commodities which may Include Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, Coloured Finished Material & Prepainted Galvanized Iron (Steel commodity) as a commodity to set future targets across standards, cost, performance , warranty and Lead time
  • Perform risk management regarding supply contracts and agreements & Comply Supplier with various audits as per Company policies.
  • Negotiate with external suppliers to secure the most advantageous terms to improve effectiveness of suppliers and accountable for supplier agreements
  • Accountable for Purchase order, SAP usage, Schedule Management process.
  • Business continuity, ensuring no gap in Supply vs Demand with no production loss.
  • Good in Data management, Financial reporting from procurement perspective.
  • Manage Total Cost Of Ownership (BOM, Overall Cost Structure, Quality & logistics)
  • Collaborate with key functional stakeholders to launch new projects.
  • Analyzing improvement opportunities to root cause and corrective actions
  • Creating justification , communication and gain consensus for new projects
  • Good to have Experience in SAP, Excel / Google Sheet & PPT / Google Slides.

Minimum requirements:

Education: B.Tech (Mech/Production/Electronics/Elec.)
Experience: 6-9 yrs of experience

FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES:

  • Hands-on Excel / SAP/ PPT / Google Slides / Google Sheets
  • Reporting & Data Analysis

Preferred skills and experiences:

BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES:

  • Good Interpersonal skills
  • Ability to follow agreed business processes and procedures
  • Expert analytic and systematic and Presentation skills
