Positive Impact Health Centers (PIHC) is a community leader in providing HIV prevention, care and treatment services. The PIHC model of care assures that persons with HIV have access to medical, pharmacy, dental, behavioral health and social services, providing the best opportunity for patients to achieve high-quality health outcomes.

Organize agency representation at community pride events (festivals, parades, etc.) and support the Development and Communications department with community engagement, patient facing marketing, digital campaigns, and event production. Manage the publishing and analytics of PIHC social media accounts. Capture photo and video footage of PIHC sponsored events and community engagement.

Promote and reinforce the agency’s mission of giving people a life worth loving through social and public media.

Requirements

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Duties and Responsibilities

Social Media Management

  • Working with departments for awareness days, weeks, months they would like to celebrate and working with them to plan prior.
  • Collaborate with department social media champions to obtain 1-2 ideas for content per month to share across social media and to our donors/sponsors/listserv.
  • Create and Manage Content Calendar in alignment with Marketing Plan to parallel messages and upcoming events.
  • Ideate, Film and Edit Relevant multi-media content (Videos/Reels) for the agency to diversify our social media footprint.
  • Engage with comments, Direct Messages, partnerships, and questions that people pose on social media.
  • Track Analytics of social media engagement; show comparison between social media outreach during Nov ’25 – April ’26 to May ’26 – Oct ’26.
  • Manage internal requests for Social Media postings.

Atlanta Pride (Parade)

  • Planning, Design, Orchestration of Agency participation in the Atlanta Pride Parade.
  • Coordinate ordering items for Parade Route, Walking sign, Theme decorations, Staff/Volunteer Coordination, Float/Car Rental, Pride Preparation Meeting attendance,
  • Staff training/informational about Parade Route logistics, handling hecklers, etc.

AIDS Walk Atlanta

  • Assisting with Staff fundraising Materials and supporting Captains with motivating their teams.
  • Complete AHF Social Media requirements for AIDS Walk
  • Create AIDS Walk social media campaign.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Understanding of the community served and HIV health care needs.
  • Good communication skills, such as listening well, and using language appropriately
  • Ability to work flexible hours to address department needs.
  • Ability to communicate and work effectively with clients and staff from diverse backgrounds.
  • Current driver's license and insurable driving record.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Community Health Worker a plus

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. College education a plus.
  • Bi-cultural background/experience is helpful.
