How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Lead the intake, review and refinement of commission system requirements from business stakeholders, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives
  • Translate business needs into comprehensive functional and technical requirements, identifying gaps and supporting solution design and delivery
  • Oversee end-to-end delivery of requirements to development teams, proactively managing milestones, dependencies and risks
  • Develop and execute test strategies, coordinate validation processes and ensure solutions meet business specifications and quality standards
  • Evaluate system change requests, assess business and technical impacts and identify dependencies across applications and processes
  • Manage complex application requirements while partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features and user experiences
  • Compile, analyze and present complex data sets to inform strategic decisions and process improvements
  • Design and maintain scalable, reliable data pre-processing automation to support commission processing using AWS Redshift and similar technologies
  • Serve as a senior liaison among HR, IT, HRIS, Payroll and business stakeholders to maximize system capabilities and support evolving needs
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and system enhancements, recommending improvements in operational efficiency, accuracy and scalability
  • Support broader business and technology initiatives by contributing subject matter expertise and mentoring team members

What You’ll Bring to Spectrum  

Required Qualifications  

Education  

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work experience

Experience  

  • 5+ years of business or systems analyst experience

Skills  

  • Initiative and adaptability in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight timelines
  • Effective communication with technical and non-technical individuals
  • Capability to synthesize business issues into technical solutions and document system requirements
  • Strong business analysis and system/process design skills
  • Proven technical abilities in relational database or compensation system configurations
  • In-depth understanding of data movement, master systems and downstream systems

Preferred Qualifications

Skills

  • Experience with Callidus or comparable sales commission systems strongly preferred
  • Proficiency with database management tools such as AWS Redshift, Teradata, Snowflake
  • Working knowledge of sales commission plans and compensation processes
  • Exposure to major billing and CRM systems (Salesforce, CSG preferred)
  • Telecommunications/Cable industry experience preferred
  • Experience leveraging AI-enabled tools and emerging technologies for business analysis, system optimization and process efficiency
