About the role

We are looking for a Commissions Specialist to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis.

As a Commissions Specialist, you will own and standardise Agency (Livestock, Wool and Grain) remuneration and incentive arrangements to ensure accuracy, governance, and alignment with the agency operating model. The role establishes a single source of truth for commissions and incentives, implements approval guardrails, and drives proactive review cycles to reduce risk while supporting attraction and retention outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Design and operate a centralised approval process for new hires and remuneration changes, with clear guardrails and documentation standards
  • Define the ownership and operating process for agency remuneration
  • Establish sign-on bonus rules, approval workflows and post implementation reviews
  • Manage the monthly commission process through MySales to provide the approved file to payroll for processing
  • Establish and maintain a central register of all incentive and commission arrangements
  • Conduct target reviews to identify and remediate potential discrepancies
  • Inform national commission rate guidelines

About you

  • Strong customer orientation skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse problematic situations and provide effective solutions
  • Experience in designing commission structures and/or managing commission structures.
  • Exposure to variable remuneration structures and/or enterprise HR/payroll processes.
  • Experience working with a sales organisation and/or agricultural setting (desirable)
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in business, commerce, finance, or data (desirable)
  • Current driver’s licence and Q-Fever vaccination (or proof of immunity)
