Job Title: Commissioning Supervisor - Rotative Equipment

Star Services LLC is a leading provider of professional services in the United Arab Emirates, with a strong focus on the oil and gas industry. We are currently seeking a Commissioning Supervisor - Rotative Equipment to join our team in Abu Dhabi.
As a Commissioning Supervisor - Rotative Equipment, you will be responsible for overseeing the commissioning of all rotative equipment on our projects. This includes ensuring that all equipment is installed and tested according to project specifications and industry standards, and that all commissioning activities are carried out safely and efficiently.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage the commissioning of all rotative equipment on our projects, including pumps, compressors, turbines, and other rotating machinery
- Develop and implement commissioning plans and procedures in accordance with project specifications and industry standards
- Coordinate with project engineers and other stakeholders to ensure that all equipment is installed and tested correctly
- Supervise a team of technicians and contractors during commissioning activities
- Conduct pre-commissioning checks and inspections to identify any potential issues or risks
- Monitor and track progress of commissioning activities and report any delays or issues to project management
- Ensure that all commissioning activities are carried out in compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Provide technical support and guidance to the commissioning team as needed
- Prepare commissioning reports and documentation for project handover to operations team
- Participate in commissioning meetings and provide updates on progress and any issues encountered.
Qualifications and experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commissioning of rotative equipment in the oil and gas industry
- Experience in a supervisory role is preferred
- Strong knowledge of commissioning procedures and standards for rotative equipment
- Familiarity with various types of rotating machinery, including pumps, compressors, and turbines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage a team and work collaboratively with other departments
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in the oil and gas industry.
