We are currently seeking a Commissioning & Start-Up Lead Engineer, to join our Commissioning team based in Nanterre/La Défense.

About the mission we offer you:

As a Commissioning & Start-Up Lead Engineer, you will lead the preparation and execution of pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up activities, both at Home Office and on site.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Lead the execution of commissioning and start-up scope in compliance with HSSE requirements

• Develop and validate commissioning procedures, method statements and systemization deliverables

• Define and monitor commissioning planning (schedule, progress, reporting)

• Coordinate commissioning teams and manage interfaces with construction, engineering and operations

• Ensure commissioning requirements are integrated across all project phases (engineering, procurement, construction)

• Supervise subcontracting activities related to commissioning scope

• Monitor site execution, anticipate risks and drive issue resolution

• Lead testing, start-up operations and performance verification

• Prepare and consolidate reporting and close-out documentation

• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers

To be successful in this mission you should consider the following requirements:

• Degree in Engineering (Process, Mechanical, Electrical or equivalent)

• Significant experience (5–10 years) in commissioning and start-up within industrial projects

• Strong knowledge of commissioning processes and site execution

• Experience in team coordination or technical leadership

• Knowledge of Oil & Gas, energy or industrial environments

• Strong organizational, leadership and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

• Fluent in English (mandatory); French is a plus
