We are currently searching for a Commissioning Resource:

The Challenge (Responsibilities)

• Conduct Site Surveys and review Network Architecture design to provide feedback and recommendations for implementation improvements.
• Configure Turbine controller tags in On-site monitoring (OSM) using Cimplicity/WST and establish data flow to Central historian servers with NERC and CIP solutions.
• Prepare FDS (Functional Design Specification), FAT (Factory Acceptance Procedure), and SAT (Site Acceptance Procedure) documents, and oversee the commissioning of PLC/SCADA systems.
• Handle AB SCADA points preparation, Points memory mapping with PLC/RTU, Graphics Preparation as per P&ID, and point linking.
• Perform Detailed Instrumentation Engineering, including Instrument Selection, Datasheets Preparation, Cable schedule preparation, and Termination Details preparation.

Your Profile (Requirements)

• 5-10+ years' experience with Windows-based systems, including Windows 2019 and Windows 10 OS, keeping up with new Microsoft platform releases.
• Knowledge of Virtual Machine Setup and configuration, alongside Network equipment (servers, routers, firewalls, switches) and industrial control systems.
• Experience in SQL Database, Historian, Pi, and OPC databases.
• PLC Programming expertise in ALLEN BRADLEY RSlogix5, RSlogix500, RSlogix5000, and Pico Soft 6.
• Integration experience with Factory Talk view Studio, RSView32, Wonder ware InTouch 7, Industrial gateway server 7.58 (IGS), & Matrikon OPC Explorer.
• Experience utilizing Proficy - Cimplicity (6.1, 8.2, 9 & 10) with Historian (5.5 & 7), and Control ST (WST).
• Domain knowledge of Power Turbine Monitoring System, DCS Integration, and Power Plant Automation.
• Experience utilizing SQL Server and VB.
• Bachelor of Science/Technology/Engineering across disciplines like Electronics and Instrumentation engineering, Computer Science, Electrical, or Controls/Instrumentation.
• High-Performance Mindset: Resilience, emotional intelligence, and a focus on agile delivery.
• Technologist DNA: A deep understanding of the difference between "coding" and "engineering."

• Experienced with Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience working in an independent and highly matrixed environment, coordinating across multiple sites, functions, and time zones, with simultaneous projects.
• Strong bias for action; mechanically minded; high energy.
• Demonstrated high organizational skills, enjoys structured, transactional, process-oriented work.
• Strong team player, excellent interpersonal skills; verbal and written communication skills, and presentation skills knowing when to use more technical detail and when to summarize.
• Solid analytical competencies, ability to troubleshoot quickly and on-the-fly, especially at customer locations.
• Familiarity with cloud-native foundations or AI coding assistants.
