Our client is a global multi-energy company operating large-scale refining and petrochemical facilities. AGUP Phase 2 is the major full field development. It involves drilling around 221 wells, feeding a new built CPF, with a capacity of 210 kbopd. Oil will flow respectively at 60 to 80 kbopd from Yamama (~100 MMscfd) and 150 to 130 kbopd from LP reservoirs (~30 MMscfd).
DURING PREPARATION (ENGINEERING) PHASE:
• Ensure all the necessary safety measures are addressed in commissioning procedures to safely execute commissioning activities for both CPF-2 and NWP packages.
• In close coordination with COMPANY Construction/Precomm team, review and approve CPF-2 and NWP chemical cleaning procedures and participate with contractors in chemical cleaning Test Packs definition for Oil & Gas systems (incl. HC utilities), ensuring procedures are compliant with safety standards and project specifications.
• Review Functional Analysis prepared by engineering and anticipate any action or modification to undergo the commissioning tasks in line with the sequence/planning. Support the team to issue any remaining Functional Analysis
• Review and approve procedures and Oil & Gas Systems OTP (incl. HC utilities) prepared by the EPSCC Contractors, actively supporting them during this process.
• Follow-up the Engineering findings with the disciplines and ensure the closure by Engineering
• Review and approve CPF-2 and NWP Leak Testing procedures and participate with contractors in Leak Test Packs definition and optimization for Oil & Gas systems (incl. HC utilities), ensuring procedures are compliant with safety standards and project specifications.
• Liaise with disciplines and Field Operations Start-Up team to ensure that systems are operable in safe and efficient manners
• Ensure ICAPS© database is correctly populated for all Oil & Gas (incl. HC utilities) related activities and interfaces.
• Participate in commissioning risk assessments giving the process point of view.
• Support the definition of system boundaries and interfaces between CPF-2 and NWP packages.
• Ensure readiness of temporary systems and tools required for commissioning.
• Coordinate early engagement with Field Operations to ensure alignment on commissioning activities and transfer of knowledge.
DURING EXECUTION PHASE:
• Fully acts in compliance with all company’s H3SE policies and procedures to avoid and minimize risk and report anything that would lead to it. Ensures and promotes the use of the Company rules and standards throughout the position’s responsibilities and activities.
• Follow up the execution of all operational tests on Oil Systems and have a particular role when the procedure needs multidiscipline skills (gas process compression, dehydration, separations, etc) and assist the Gas & Utilities System Lead as needed.
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise leak tests on Oil Systems as part of the commissioning scope, making sure that results are properly documented and communicated to relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure that vendor mobilization is properly anticipated by contractors in line with commissioning planning.
• Focal point for modification and up to date RLMU, in close coordination with ICSS/Elec/Inst/HVAC/Mec Leads.
• Liaise with the Field Operations to arrange for the PSSR requirement and initiate the KOM and close-out meetings for OTPs.
• Review and validate assigned subsystems pre-commissioning and commissioning dossiers
• Monitor progress, manage punch list clearance, and ensure documentation is updated in ICAPS.
• Follow up the commissioning spare parts related to discipline and coordinate with contractors any emergency material request
• Support the Completion Coordinator in achieving RFC, AOC, and TOM milestones.
• Participate in daily coordination meetings and ensure alignment with GPP and Pipelines commissioning teams.
Professional experience:
• Degree: Degree in Engineering,
• 8-10 years of experience in Oil & Gas Projects activities and familiar with typical Oil & Gas onshore installation (Separation, Desalting, Storage and Export, Gas compression, Dehydration, HC Utilities…).
• Proven track records of several successful assignments on similar office/site positions.
Technical competencies:
• Knowledge / Training in OPERCOMTM Methodology and ICAPS© software is a plus
• Hands on and computer literate (Standard software’s).
Behavioral competencies:
• Strong ability to transversely manage a multicultural team, ensuring effective coordination of activities and responsibilities with other project stakeholders (Package Managers, contractors, Commissioning entities, and Field Operations team) in a dynamic, site-based environment that requires adaptability and composure under challenging conditions.
