This integrated approach enables greater collaboration, improved programme certainty, reduced project risk and stronger outcomes for our clients.As part of the global ACS Group, you'll be supported by industry-leading systems, international capability and a strong pipeline of hyperscale data centre projects across Australia and beyond.The OpportunityAs Commissioning Manager, you will lead all commissioning activities across major data centre and mission-critical infrastructure projects, from design review and commissioning planning through to integrated systems testing, operational readiness and client handover.Working closely with engineering, construction and project leadership teams, consultants, subcontractors and client stakeholders, you will ensure critical systems are commissioned safely, compliantly and efficiently, delivering operationally ready facilities that meet the highest performance and reliability standards.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the development and implementation of project commissioning strategies, plans and methodologies.Oversee commissioning delivery across mechanical, electrical, controls and integrated building systems.Drive commissioning readiness reviews, integrated systems testing (IST) and operational readiness programmes.Collaborate with engineering and construction teams to ensure commissioning requirements are embedded throughout the project lifecycle.Coordinate clients, consultants, subcontractors, vendors and operations teams to achieve commissioning milestones and project objectives.Manage commissioning scope, programme, technical risk and change control processes.Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, contractual requirements and regulatory obligations.Champion a culture of safety, quality, collaboration and continuous improvement across commissioning teams.About YouWe're looking for a commissioning leader who thrives in complex project environments and enjoys working across the full project lifecycle.You will bring:A degree qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.Extensive commissioning experience on data centres, mission-critical facilities or other complex infrastructure projects.Strong knowledge of commissioning processes across mechanical, electrical, controls and integrated systems.Experience working within Design & Construct project delivery environments.Demonstrated leadership of multidisciplinary commissioning teams and specialist contractors.Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills.A collaborative leadership style with a commitment to safety, quality and operational excellence.Experience delivering integrated systems testing and operational readiness programmes.Career Growth & Long-Term PipelineAustralia's accelerating investment in AI infrastructure, cloud services and digital connectivity is creating a long-term pipeline of hyperscale data centre developments.As part of our growing Data Centre business, you'll benefit from:A strong pipeline of future mission-critical and hyperscale data centre projects.Long-term career progression opportunities across UGL and CPB Contractors.Exposure to nationally significant infrastructure programs.Leadership development and technical career pathways.Access to global expertise and international project networks through the ACS Group.Opportunities to contribute to some of the most advanced data centre developments in the region.Next StepsIf you're an experienced commissioning leader looking to take ownership of major data centre project delivery and help shape Australia's next generation of digital infrastructure, we'd love to hear from you.As part of the recruitment process, checks may be conducted including right to work verification, reference checks, medical assessment, drug and alcohol testing, and criminal history checks where relevant to the role.
