Wood is seeking a Commissioning Manager to join our Minerals & Metals (M&M) team at our construction project in Northern Saskatchewan.
The Role
The Commissioning Manager will be reporting directly to the Construction Manager and functionally to the Director, Technical & Assurance M&M West and will be responsible for leading the planning and execution of the commissioning phase of all on site facilities. This role has overall responsibility for overseeing the testing, verification and handover of complex systems to ensure they operate according to design specifications and safety standards. As a senior member of the project team, the Commissioning Manager will contribute to the project planning, scheduling, site health and safety, contractor coordination, field quality assurance, as well as logistics and for the commissioning of the site and facilities. The successful candidate will lead the Commissioning team, liaise with the construction management team, engineering team, operations and contractors in order to successfully lead this stage of the project.
