Job Description

Work Location: Kuala Lumpur

Contract Duration: 1 year

Qualification:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in the oil and gas industry, including at least 8 years in a Commissioning Lead role or similar position.

Professional skill

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, particularly during start-up and commissioning.
  • Good knowledge of commissioning procedures, company standards, and oil and gas industry practices.
  • Strong planning, coordination, and leadership skills.

Responsibility

  • Lead construction, hook-up, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities for oil and gas projects.
  • Develop system definitions, commissioning procedures, testing plans, and the Commissioning Manual.
  • Establish handover and acceptance criteria to ensure systems meet project and company requirements.
  • Plan, organize, and coordinate testing and commissioning activities at project sites.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve start-up and commissioning issues to ensure safe and efficient project execution.
  • Ensure all commissioning activities comply with company guidelines, standards, and project specifications.
