
Job Purpose:
Ensure the proper configuration, testing, and commissioning of secondary circuits, protection, control, and automation systems, in compliance with technical standards and project requirements, contributing to the safe and reliable integration of energy infrastructure into operation.
Responsibilities:
Verify the accuracy and completeness of technical design and documentation
Analyze and interpret protection settings and secondary circuit diagrams, ensuring compliance with applicable technical standards (IEC, ANSI, etc.)
Configure and set up protection and control equipment
Prepare FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) and SAT (Site Acceptance Testing) procedures
Perform testing of protection and control equipment, secondary circuits, and related connections, ensuring wiring accuracy
Set and test power supply systems for commissioning activities
Verify correct operation of automation and control systems
Collaborate with design engineers, SCADA teams, construction/execution teams, and other stakeholders to coordinate commissioning activities
Prepare systems for initial operational start-up
Perform final testing prior to handover for continuous operation
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Automation, or related technical field
Solid understanding of protection systems, secondary circuits, and electrical automation
Familiarity with relevant technical standards (IEC, ANSI, etc.)
Experience in configuring and testing protection relays and secondary circuits
Proficiency in using diagnostic and testing equipment
ANRE certification and driving license considered a plus
Good command of English
