YOUR MISSION:
As a Regional Construction and Commissioning (CCX) Technician, you will execute, perform and coordinate construction and commissioning tasks related to Silent-Aire products. goals in. You will be responsible and accountable for commissioning and construction activities related to the AHU (Air Handing Unit), client relations, customer service, and safety program compliance. You will ensure high levels of operating performance as measured by customer satisfaction, safety, profitability, and growth. MCS Regional CCX Technician has the following main areas of responsibility: • Construction and Commissioning activities. • QC Inspections • Preventative Maintenance / Operation training and technical support. • Technical advisory. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES: • Coordinate the day-to-day operations of regional CCX services such as Inspection, Installation and repair of components start-up, functional testing and troubleshooting on Silent-Aire equipment. • Coordinate and communicate provide input at all stages of project completion; Installation to Commissioning and Handover to Client alongside the Client’s project(s) team. • Engagement with SAE Engineering design and QA/QC Teams to comprehend and understand the operational requirements and to feedback on any issues or potential improvements. • Responsible for building and maintaining client relationships. • Research, troubleshoot, and follow through for a prompt resolution of any customer question, problem, or complaint. • Develop and maintain expert technical knowledge across the product/service line. • Monitors and reports on the progress of all projects activity within the region, including significant milestones, and any conditions, which would affect project quality, cost or schedule. Provide project field support on projects, as required. • Contribute to building the infrastructure, and client base in their respective region. • Works cohesively with APAC Technicians and management to maintain and improve region profitability. • Modeling excellent relations between the business and the community. • Generate daily reports, and ensure paperwork is properly completed in a timely manner. • Provide information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends. • Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential. • Engage and follow, Business and Quality systems, process’ and procedures implemented by management and the PMO. • Other duties and projects assigned, including hands-on tasks as required.
1 BACKGROUND & TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• A university degree or college degree in engineering or a related technical discipline are assets. • Related trade school education/certification is an asset. • Minimum five years of experience in a technician position, preferably in the HVAC industry. • Or combination of experience and education listed above. • Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing, reference, driving record & background check. • Strong analytical and Computer skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Office products. • Previous exposure to budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting an asset. • High standard and proficiency of time management, communication, professionalism, adaptability and dependability. • Maintains personal relationships and good communication with staff, clients, other sub- contractors or any other important point of contact. • Participates in safety initiatives/committees where appropriate. • Support corporate mid and long-range strategic initiatives, as required. • Perform other duties as assigned by the Regional CCX Technician. • Must maintain clearance levels of any additional site access and Silent-Aire requirements. • This is a safety sensitive position.
