The Commission Specialist’s purpose is to ensure accurate and timely processing of the company’s monthly sales commission payroll, including the gathering and entering of data. The specialist will apply commission, HR, and company policies when reviewing commission and payroll, and will interact with sales reps to answer questions about their commission statements.

  • Perform daily employee maintenance updates within the commissions files

  • Ensure all commission entries are processed accurately and on time.

  • Assess the commission's report for errors and outliers before transmission to payroll

  • Research Gross Margin reports provided by accounting to flag data issues for accurate commission reporting

  • Maintain records of employee compensation plans and implement changes when needed - Understand and adhere to company policies when reviewing commission and payroll

  • Generate statements to sales reps with details of their commissions

  • Respond to employee commission inquiries promptly

Skill Level Requirements

  • Ability to effectively utilize applications like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook to enhance productivity and perform various tasks efficiently - Intermediate



Other Requirements

  • Completed Bachelors Degree in A ccounting, Business, Finance, or a related field.

  • 1-3 years of experience in a similar role or relevant work experience required

The estimated annual pay range for this position is $40,000 - $70,000 which includes a base salary and bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
