Job Description

For the next season (spring/summer 2026), we are looking for a Commis de Rang to join our La Terrazza Restaurant team.

The ideal candidate is open to new challenges and ready to constantly develop yourself further. He / she is willing to support the team to provide authentic and luxury dining experiences, demonstrating care, curiosity and community.

Main Duties & Responsabilities

  • Preparation and Set-up: Prepare and set up trays and trolleys for room service according to received orders and established presentation standards.
  • Guest Interaction: Greet guests upon delivery, answer any questions, and ensure they have everything they need for a luxury experience.
  • Collection and Clearing: Timely and discreetly remove used trays and trolleys from guest rooms.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized Room Service work area, including trolleys, trays, and equipment.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the kitchen, bar, and reception to ensure smooth communication and efficient service.
  • Adherence to Standards: Ensure compliance with hygiene and sanitation regulations and hotel service standards.

Requirements

  • Effective communication: communicate clearly and in an appropriate manner (both verbally and non-verbally);
  • Emotional intelligence: demonstrate sensitivity to the needs and emotions of guests and colleagues and adjust his/her style to them.
  • Adaptability: identify when a different approach is needed and offer solutions. Try and adopt new ways of doing things;
  • Collaboration: be able and willing to work as a team player e Share information and skills and actively seek and provide feedback.

Other requirements:

  • Fluent in Italian and high level of English;
  • Tourism or Hospitality degree preferred;
  • Previous professional experience in a similar role, also with school internships;
  • Passion for service and ambition to grow professionally;
