Job Description

For the next season (spring/summer 2026), we are looking for a Commis de Rang to join our La Terrazza Restaurant team.

The ideal candidate is open to new challenges and ready to constantly develop yourself further. He / she is willing to support the team to provide authentic and luxury dining experiences, demonstrating care, curiosity and community.

Main duties & responsibilities:

  • Fulfil the operations of the Food & Beverage on La Terrazza Restaurant - according to the Company policies, high standards and procedures;
  • Take care of the mise en place;
  • Support the Chef de Rang with service;
  • Clean and set-up floors, tables, chairs, linens, glass and silver for service;
  • Monitor all aspects of the customers' experience, from the restaurant layout before they arrive to the experience they receive during the service. Act to enhance a flawless service and anticipate Guests’ needs.

Requirements

  • Effective communication: communicate clearly and in an appropriate manner (both verbally and non-verbally);
  • Emotional intelligence: demonstrate sensitivity to the needs and emotions of guests and colleagues and adjust his/her style to them. Manage own emotions in challenging situations;
  • Adaptability: identify when a different approach is needed and offer solutions. Try and adopt new ways of doing things;
  • Collaboration: be able and willing to work as a team player e Share information and skills and actively seek and provide feedback.

Other requirements:

  • Fluent in Italian and basic level of English;
  • Tourism or Hospitality degree preferred;
  • Previous professional experience in a similar role, also with school internships;
  • Passion for service and ambition to grow professionally;

  • Start date: April/May 2026 to End date: November 2026, with the aim of a continuous collaboration over subsequent seasons at Splendido and a career path;
  • Monthly gross salary around 1.600€ + separate payslip for 13°,14° and TFR;
