About the role
Reporting to the Outlet Manager and supporting the Pool & Bar team, you will contribute to delivering an exceptional Pool & Bar experience through attentive, efficient, and personalized service. Your role will include assisting with food and beverage service in the pool area, supporting the setup and upkeep of service stations, delivering orders to Guests, and ensuring poolside areas are maintained to the highest standards. You will work closely with the team to create a refined, relaxed, and welcoming luxury experience for every Guest.
What you will do
Support the Pool & Bar team in delivering food and beverages to Guests at sun loungers and tables, ensuring orders are served promptly, accurately, and professionally.
Assist in describing menu items and beverage offerings to Guests, communicating any special requests or dietary requirements to the bar and kitchen team through the hotel’s point-of-sales system.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of poolside areas, bar counters, tables, loungers, and service stations throughout the shift, ensuring all areas reflect the hotel’s luxury standards.
Assist with the setup and breakdown of the pool and bar operation, including preparation of mise en place, polishing glassware and cutlery, replenishing supplies, and organizing service equipment.
Follow all health, safety, hygiene, and service standards in line with hotel procedures.
What you bring
High school education or equivalent experience.
Previous experience in restaurants, bars, hotels, resorts, beach clubs, or pool operations is preferred, ideally within a luxury hospitality environment.
Positive attitude, willingness to learn, strong teamwork skills, and a passion for hospitality and Guest service.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced outdoor environment.
Ability to carry trays and work comfortably in an outdoor poolside setting.
Ability to read, speak, and understand English and Italian.

Schedule & Hours:
This is a full-time position
The candidate must have a flexible schedule and work also on weekends and holidays.
This position is based at the San Domenico Palace in Taormina and the contract is seasonal. You must possess the legal right to work in Italy.
