Who Are We Looking For?

Are you passionate about hospitality hardworking and eager to support exceptional dining experiences Join one of the 4 or 5-star hotels we collaborate with in the stunning Austrian Alps located in Vorarlberg Tyrol Kärnten Steiermark or Salzburg

We are looking for individuals with a basic to intermediate level of German previous experience in a similar position with desire to grow in the industry

As a Commis de Rang your responsibilities include assisting the Chef de Rang in managing a station supporting smooth and high-quality operations helping to serve guests and ensuring an excellent dining experience

Your main functions will be:

As a Commis de Rang, you will play a key support role in creating exceptional dining experiences. Your main responsibilities include assisting the Chef de Rang in managing the station and ensuring guests receive impeccable service.

  • Assisting in welcoming guests and providing a warm, professional experience
  • Supporting the Chef de Rang to maintain smooth and high-quality operations
  • Gaining knowledge of the menu and wine list to assist with guest inquiries
  • Delivering excellent table service by serving dishes and beverages with precision
  • Ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the dining area
  • Responding calmly to challenges during service and working as part of a cohesive team

Requirements:

We are seeking motivated individuals with at least 1 year of experience in a similar position attention to detail and a strong focus on quality stress resistance and the ability to work effectively in a team a friendly and outgoing personality with a passion for service good manners a well-groomed appearance B1-level German or higher and fluent English

  • Employment in one of our 4*, 4* Superior, or 5* hotels located in the stunning Austrian Alps (Vorarlberg, Tirol, Kärnten, Steiermark, Salzburg).
  • Type of contract: seasonal or permanent, depending on the hotel.
  • Minimum contract hours: 48 per week (winter season: 48-54 hours, 6 days/week; permanent contracts: 5 days/week, 40-45 hours).
  • Salary: 1,650-1,800 net per month + tips (depending on experience and German skills), with potential for higher earnings.
  • Additional benefits: two extra salaries per year, vacation pay, free accommodation and meals, full insurance, and social benefits according to Austrian law.

  • Trial period: 2-3 weeks.
