Als Commis de Cuisine Patisserie sind Sie für die folgenden Aufgaben verantwortlich:

  • Herstellung und Zubereitung hochwertiger Pâtisserieprodukte, Desserts und Süßspeisen

  • Unterstützung des Pâtisserie-Teams im Tagesgeschäft und bei Sonderprojekten

  • Mithilfe beim Auf- und Abbau von Dessertbuffets für Veranstaltungen und den À-la-carte-Service

  • Sicherstellung der fachgerechten Lagerung und Handhabung aller Zutaten und Rohstoffe

  • Gewährleistung reibungsloser Arbeitsabläufe unter Einhaltung höchster Qualitäts- und Präsentationsstandards

  • Einhaltung und Kontrolle der Hygiene-, Sauberkeits- und Lebensmittelsicherheitsvorschriften gemäß HACCP-Richtlinien

Als Commis de Cuisine Patisserie erwarten wir von Ihnen:

  • Eine abgeschlossene Ausbildung als Konditor/-in oder Koch/Köchin.

  • Berufserfahrungen in einer Patisserie – bevorzugt in der gehobenen Hotellerie/Gastronomie

  • Flexibilität und Belastbar – zu Ihrer Position gehören Wochenend- und Feiertagsschichten

  • Gute Kommunikationsfähigkeit, Teamfähigkeit, Zuverlässigkeit und Organisationstalent

  • Hohes Engagement sowie eine strukturierte und selbstständige Arbeitsweise

  • Hohes Qualitätsbewusstsein

  • Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse. Weitere Fremdsprachenkenntnisse sind von Vorteil

About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental Palace, Luzern, within the Culinary Department, the Commis de Cuisine Pastry supports the Executive Pastry Chef and the pastry team in the preparation, production, and presentation of high-quality pastries and desserts. The role ensures that all items meet the hotel’s luxury standards while maintaining cleanliness, organization, and efficiency in the pastry section. The Commis de Cuisine Pâtisserie reports directly to the Pastry Chef.

As Commis de Cuisine Pastry, you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Preparing and producing high-quality pastries, desserts, and confectionery items

  • Assisting the pastry team in daily operations and special projects

  • Supporting the setup and dismantling of dessert buffets for events and service

  • Ensuring proper storage and handling of all ingredients and raw materials

  • Maintaining smooth workflows while upholding the highest quality and presentation standards

  • Following and monitoring hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety regulations in accordance with HACCP guidelines

As Commis de Cuisine Pastry, we expect from you:

  • A completed training as a pastry chef or cook.

  • Some professional experience in a pâtisserie, ideally within the upscale hotel or fine-dining sector

  • Flexibility and ability to work under pressure - your position includes weekend and holiday shifts

  • Good communication skills, teamwork, reliability and organisational skills

  • High level of commitment as well as a structured and independent way of working

  • High quality awareness

  • Very good knowledge of German and English. Further foreign language skills are an advantage
