Job Description

We are looking for a Commis II to join our kitchen team and support the senior chefs in the preparation and cooking of dishes. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts, be eager to learn, and be able to follow instructions precisely.  Assist in the preparation of ingredients and cooking of menu items under the supervision of senior chefs.
 Follow recipes and presentation standards as directed by the Chef de Partie or Sous Chef.
 Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen areas.
 Ensure proper storage and labeling of food items.
 Assist in inventory management and stock rotation.
 Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety practices.
 Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure efficient service.
 Participate in training and development opportunities to improve skills.
 Perform other kitchen duties as assigned by senior chefs.

 Proven experience as a Commis II or similar role in a professional kitchen.
 Basic knowledge of culinary techniques and kitchen equipment.
 Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
 Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
 Good communication and interpersonal skills.
 High school diploma or equivalent; culinary school is a plus.
 Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
