Commis Chef (Breakfast) – Crowne Plaza Geelong

There's something special about breakfast. It's the first impression of the day, and we're looking for an enthusiastic Commis Chef to help us serve up memorable mornings in our vibrant buffet breakfast in restaurant Sociali.

From perfectly cooked eggs to beautifully presented buffet displays, you'll help deliver a breakfast experience that's fresh, delicious, and the perfect start to every guest's day.

This role is primarily focused on breakfast shifts, so if you're someone who likes to get your day started early, we'd love to meet you.

A Taste of Your Day

• Prepare and present a delicious, high-quality buffet breakfast every day.
• Cook breakfast favourites with consistency, speed, and attention to detail.
• Keep the buffet looking fresh, full, and inviting throughout service.
• Maintain exceptional food safety, cleanliness, and kitchen hygiene standards.
• Work alongside a supportive culinary team to deliver an outstanding guest experience.
• Assist with food preparation and stock rotation to keep the kitchen running smoothly.
• Assist with food preparation for meetings and events and other outlets.

What You'll Bring

• Previous experience in a commercial kitchen (hotel experience is a bonus but not essential).
• A passion for cooking and creating great guest experiences.
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume breakfast service.
• A positive attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn.
• Availability to work early morning shifts across a 7-day roster, including weekends and public holidays.
• Full Australian working rights.
