Commercial Tyre Technician - East Midlands

Monday - Friday, 37.5hrs a week

1 night shift a week, flexible start time for remaining 4 days

Starting Salary: £28,500 + up to 11% bonus + Company van

Covering East Midlands: Candidates ideally live in Nottingham/Derby area

We are looking for a Commercial Tyre Fitter to join our Connected Solutions Team.

This role is ideal if you enjoy staying active, working with your hands, and prefer practical work over desk‑based tasks. If you take pride in seeing the results of your effort at the end of the day, you’ll feel right at home here.

New to tyre fitting?

No problem! You will be paired up with one of our experts and we will provide comprehensive training to equip you for success in this role.

What will you be doing?

  • Working as a commercial tyre fitter, you'll be responsible for your own bus garages in and around East Midlands.

  • Fit, inspect, and maintain bus tyres onsite at our customer’s bus garages.

  • Lift, move and manoeuvre heavy tyres as part of day‑to‑day duties

  • Process your job sheets in internal system

  • Managing workload and prioritising tasks effectively

  • Approximately once a week, you'll carry out fleet inspections, which typically start between 12am and 2am when vehicles return to the depot. For the remaining four days, we can offer greater flexibility around start and finish times, which can be discussed during the interview process.

You have:

  • Full UK driving license, which you’ve held for a minimum of 2 years

  • Right to work in the UK

  • Basic IT skills

  • Willingness to work flexibly

  • Candidates ideally live in Nottingham/Derby area
