Job Description

An official franchised dealership for Iveco and Powerstar commercial vehicles who offers sales of parts and servicing/repairs of vehicles is in search of a Commerical Retail Service Manager to join this thriving team.

This manager will be supported by a strong Technical Foreman so this role is perfect for the leader with extensive experience in a retail spaces and large team managment (15+ size teams)

NON-NEGOTIABLES

  • Proven track record of successfully managing a large workshop with commercial vehicles
  • Experience with SAP or some type of Retail operating system
  • Volumes of Service jobs: Must be able to hand 12-15 jobs per day
  • Experienced with Budgets
  • Experience with Admin reports such as Work in Progress & Warrantys
  • Experience with Disciplinary Process

Required

  • Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
  • Qualified Artisan/ Diesel mechanic or Engineering qualification #bonus
  • 8-10 Years working experience in a technical retail environment
  • 5 years in a Management position, which includes managing a large staff compliment

Responsibilities include-

  • Manage and control the complete technical function in the Business Unit and
  • ensure deadlines and quality and budget standards are met.
  • Ensure the effective management and maintenance of facilities, tools and equipment.
  • Manage and develop/train Technical Personnel.
  • Compile and manage the Department budget and targets within prescribed parameters and standards
  • Directly manage and control warranty/maintenance processes/systems and audits
  • Ensure compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act in the Workshop.
  • Manage Service and Maintenance of all customers fleets
  • Manage and control all service level/quality requirements by the respective OEMs
