Job Description

To enable the efficient, accurate, and timely execution of sales activities and in some cases near link with logistics, and financial operations across EMEA & APAC regions by providing high-quality administrative support, ensuring process consistency, and enhancing cross-functional collaboration that drives commercial performance and customer satisfaction.

Process Execution and Optimization :

CSS should heavily involved in executing key Commercial Processes such as,

◆ Activities

• Order Offer Creation: Generating accurate quotes, proposals, and contracts for clients.
• Support EMEA & APAC with Manual offer and order creation
• Validation of internet offers and orders
• Upload offers, orders or invoices on the customer’s portal
• Maintain and update sales record in CRM
• Support Sales Reporting, metrics dashboards and pipeline tracking.
• Analyze and follow up on support activities as per decided KPI .
• Order Processing:

Ensuring that orders are entered correctly to ensure customer

satisfaction after the receipt.

• Data Management:

Maintaining accurate customer records, sales data, and other

commercial information in CRM or ERP systems.

• Administrative Support:

While some administrative tasks are involved, these are usually more complex or process-driven than basic clerical duties (e.g., managing customer accounts, handling specific documentation for commercial deals).

• Support any new activities that have a near link with a (new) commercial process.

Problem Solving and Troubleshooting:

◆ Activities

• CSS acts as a key point of contact for internal teams (sales, logistics, finance) for addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to commercial ad-hoc tasks, workflows, orders offers or data related projects.
• This often requires a deeper understanding of the product/service, commercial policies, and inter-departmental workflows to effectively diagnose and resolve problems.

Cross functional collaboration with various departments.

◆ Activities

• A significant part of their role involves liaising with various departments/Teams ( like sales, finance, logistics etc.) to ensure commercial projects/tasks are fulfilled, issues/queries / questions are resolved, and information flows seamlessly.
• CSS bridges gaps between different functions to ensure a cohesive commercial experience.

Information and Data provision

◆ Activities

• They provide vital information and data to the stakeholders ( i.e. functional teams, management, and other departments) to aid decision-making and performance monitoring. This can include any support like reports, dashboards, process information or customer details etc..

• While not always a direct customer-facing sales role, they often contribute to

customer satisfaction by ensuring accurate and timely processing of requests,

resolving issues, and providing necessary information

• Due to the hands-on involvement in commercial workflows, CSS should often

identify inefficiencies or bottlenecks and may suggest improvements to streamline processes and enhance overall commercial operations.

• Make suggestions or proposals when it comes to process improvements with the focus on revenue uplift or efficiency improvement.
