Job Description

About the Role

Our team is the engine room of ad campaign excellence within the commercial division. We ensure every digital advertising campaign is delivered with precision, backed by robust impact and outcome measurement.

By leveraging historical campaign intelligence, we evolve our product suite to maximise advertising effectiveness. Our mission is to deliver benchmark busting results for clients while maintaining a premium reader experience that aligns with TMG’s subscriber strategy and rigorous editorial standards.

We are the bridge between data and strategy, ensuring TMG remains a market-leading authority in the digital advertising landscape.

As a Commercial Success Executive, you will spearhead the day-to-day operations of our award-winning Metrics That Matter programme. This is our flagship optimisation and reporting service, designed to provide select clients with total transparency.

You will move beyond "vanity metrics," focusing instead on deep attention and engagement data to prove the true value of our premium environment. Additionally, you will manage our brand lift studies, transforming complex data into clear, concise narratives that demonstrate exactly how a campaign performed.

We are looking for a storyteller who lives for the "why" behind the numbers. To be successful in this role, you should be someone who can take a spreadsheet and translate it into a compelling narrative about consumer behavior and ad engagement.

Key Responsibilities

● Optimisation & Oversight: Partner with AdOps to identify optimisation opportunities based on attention metrics.

● Brand Lift Management: Oversee the end-to-end setup of brand lift studies to ensure data integrity and sufficient response rates.

● Strategic Reporting: Compile brand lift data into client-ready decks, providing expert commentary and actionable recommendations for future spend.

● Sales Partnership: Act as a subject matter expert for the Sales team, interpreting results and attending client meetings to present findings.

● Insight Synthesis: Build and maintain a "Best Practice" library to inform future sales strategies and client conversations.

● Data Support: Assist the Head of Data-Led Advertising with foundational reporting and ad-hoc analysis.

Essential Skills

● Data Literacy: A strong foundational understanding of data management and analytics.

● Software Proficiency: Expert-level competence in Google Suite (specifically Sheets and Slides).

● AI Fluency: A basic understanding of how to utilise AI tools effectively and responsibly to enhance workflows.

● Industry Context: Previous experience in a digital advertising environment, specifically Display, is highly preferred
