The Commercial Strategic Initiatives Program Owner is a forward-looking commercial leader responsible for driving global transformation across sales operations through process excellence, eCommerce/Intelligent automation, and innovation.

This role acts as the connective tissue between technology, enablement, and execution, ensuring that new initiatives spanning AI, intelligent automation, digital and self-service buying models, process optimization, and global strategic programs deliver measurable impact on seller efficiency, customer engagement, and revenue growth.

A near‑term priority of this role is to establish RIB’s first true, enterprise‑grade commercial eCommerce program, defining its vision, operating model, and phased rollout in close partnership with Product, IT, and Commercial leadership. If you combine deep understanding of SaaS sales processes with strong change leadership, program management, and a passion for leveraging data and emerging technology to simplify and scale how we sell - let´s talk!

Key Responsibilities

1. AI & Intelligent Automation Initiatives

  • Identify, define and lead AI-driven use cases that improve pipeline management, forecasting accuracy, and seller efficiency.
  • Collaborate with RIB AI Program lead, Data Analytics, CRM, and Operations teams to operationalize AI within Salesforce and supporting systems.
  • Evaluate, pilot, and scale emerging AI technologies (e.g., predictive analytics, agent automation, content recommendations).
  • Define success metrics and governance models to monitor AI adoption and impact.

2. Sales Process Ownership & Optimization

  • Own and continuously evolve the global sales process framework, ensuring alignment across stages, methodologies, and CRM workflows.
  • Drive continuous improvement to reduce friction, improve seller productivity, and increase data quality.
  • Partner with Sales Enablement, CRM, and Regional Operations to embed process into daily execution and training.
  • Ensure process changes are designed for usability, scalability, and consistent adoption across all regions.

3. Strategic & Special Projects

  • Lead cross-functional initiatives originating from global leadership forums and strategic programs (e.g., Dreamforce, Dubai Leadership Summit, ONE-RIB Commercial Transformation).
  • Define project scope, success criteria, and execution plans that align with commercial objectives.
  • Coordinate stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to ensure alignment and measurable outcomes.
  • Maintain a consolidated portfolio view of ongoing initiatives, interdependencies, and business value delivery.

4. Framework & Governance

  • Develop and maintain a standardized framework for how strategic initiatives are scoped, executed, measured, and transitioned into business-as-usual (BAU).
  • Create and manage templates, playbooks, and communication standards to improve consistency and visibility across programs.
  • Partner with Governance and Data Analytics teams to align on compliance, performance metrics, and success measurement.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Change Leadership

  • Partner closely with CRM, Enablement, Sales Operations, and Regional Leadership to drive adoption and measurable business impact.
  • Facilitate alignment sessions and stakeholder workshops to review initiative performance, remove blockers, and share best practices.
  • Act as a bridge between innovation (AI, process design, automation) and field execution (sales, marketing, customer success).
  • Serve as a key influencer and change agent, ensuring transformation programs are understood, adopted, and sustained.


Your Profile

  • 8+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Process Excellence, Commercial Strategy, or Revenue Operations within a SaaS or technology environment.
  • Proven success leading cross-functional transformation initiatives and managing complex stakeholder networks.
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce CRM and supporting technologies (e.g., LeanData, Highspot, Salesloft, Gainsight).
  • Familiarity with AI and automation applications in sales, marketing, or revenue operations contexts.
  • Exceptional program management, communication, and change management skills.
  • Ability to translate strategic concepts into actionable, measurable projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with a focus on simplification and scalability.
  • The role requires minimal travel of less than 10 %.
  • Fluent language skills in English (Level C1/C2).
