PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Commercial Services Leadership
- Lead and develop commercial services personnel supporting multiple product lines and order types.
- Establish team priorities, performance expectations, and operational accountability standards.
- Support hiring, onboarding, employee development, and workforce planning activities.
Quote-to-Order Execution
- Oversee daily quote-to-order activities including quotations, contract reviews, order entry, and order management.
- Coordinate with sales, operations, engineering, supply chain, finance, and shared services teams to support efficient commercial execution.
- Ensure service levels, workload distribution, and commercial processes are consistently maintained.
Operational Performance & Continuous Improvement
- Monitor operational KPIs, reporting metrics, and team performance to support business objectives.
- Identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, scalability, accuracy, and customer responsiveness.
- Support standardization of workflows, systems adoption, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Systems, Data & Commercial Governance
- Support effective utilization of ERP, CRM, CPQ, and other commercial systems while maintaining data accuracy and operational reporting integrity.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, delegated authority requirements, commercial procedures, and internal controls.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve system functionality, reporting capabilities, and operational visibility.
Customer & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Build strong working relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to support commercial execution.
- Partner with sales and product line teams to address customer requirements, order execution, and issue resolution.
- Support compliance with NOV quality, health, safety, environmental, and training requirements while promoting safe and consistent workplace practices.
FACILITY/GROUP SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support regional commercial services activities aligned with ISE operational objectives and customer requirements.
- Collaborate across product lines to ensure standardized commercial execution practices and operational consistency.
- Support regional growth initiatives through effective commercial support, process efficiency, and customer responsiveness.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong working knowledge of CRM, ERP, and commercial systems platforms.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
- Ability to interpret commercial terms, customer requirements, and operational workflows.
- Minimal domestic and international travel may be required.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, commercial operations, quote-to-order, customer service, or related commercial support functions.
- Demonstrated experience supporting sales processes and managing commercial workflows.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Sales, or a related discipline preferred.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a commercial or operational environment preferred.
- Experience managing quote-to-order processes within ERP, CRM, or related business systems.
- Experience supporting both spare parts and capital equipment commercial processes preferred.
- Experience developing operational reports, dashboards, and analytics preferred.
- Experience implementing or supporting commercial systems, process improvements, or operational transformation initiatives preferred.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of quote-to-order processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Power BI, and related reporting tools.
- Working knowledge of ERP, CRM, and CPQ systems such as D365 or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of commercial contract review and order management processes.
- Ability to analyze operational KPIs, commercial metrics, and reporting data.
- Understanding of workflow standardization and process improvement methodologies.
- Familiarity with sales operations, customer support, and commercial governance practices.
