Title: Commercial Sales Operations Specialist


Base Salary:

$56,000
to $85,000 annually DOE

Job Summary


The Sales Operations
Specialist streamlines commercial sales systems to enhance the team's
experience. Responsibilities include handling operational tasks, such as event
planning, order tracking, and new hire onboarding. The role focuses on
supporting new programs for sales growth, demanding attention to detail,
accountability, and proactive problem-solving. As an operations-oriented
individual, you will drive efficiency, process improvement, and contribute
creative solutions to benefit our customers and employees.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Sales Operations and Program
Support:


·

Work with a broad set of key stakeholders to
support & maintain innovative sales and technical sales enablement programs
& systems.


·

Work within a variety of systems including but not
limited to: Salesforce, ConnectBase, and other industry specific applications
and/or vendors.


·

Handling various operational and
administrative tasks, including sales events and program planning, order audit
tracking, compensation and commission related questions, new hire onboarding,
and changes in personnel and system/application oversight.


·

Understanding and supporting new
programs or sales initiatives created to drive sales growth and increase sales
productivity.


Project
Management and Reporting:


·

Prior experience and understanding of project
management and the PM process to oversee special programs or initiatives, track
daily, weekly, and monthly progress, provide status of key deliverables and
overall results.


·

Partner with sales leadership to assure key metrics
are easily accessible and reported on for systems and processes you manage and
control, including accurate and up-to-date commission tracking and
administration.


Stakeholder
Communication and Liaison:


·

Act as a conduit and liaison between multiple
constituents that have a need to access information and overcome obstacles in
the sales order channel. This includes VPs, Sales Managers, and individual
sales executives.


Other Duties


·

Performs other duties as
required to support the business and evolving organization.


Required Qualifications:


·

High
school diploma or GED.


·

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.


·

A minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of proven experience in a
sales operations role.


·

Familiarity
with telecommunications and/or cloud technologies.


  • Prior use and understanding of
    Salesforce and other business applications.

  • Sales administration, documentation,
    events, schedules, meetings, and program organization.

  • Resourceful, self-starter who is open
    to direction, but capable of working independently.

  • Proven record of accomplishment of
    working multiple projects, staying organized and executing against
    schedules and due dates.

  • A working understanding of a sales
    methodology and selling culture.

Proven
skills in communicating effectively, including writing clearly and concisely,
giving captivating presentations, and ensuring careful attention to detail.


  • Strong personal accountability and the
    ability to take the initiative to work through technical problems and
    sales related issues.

  • A fast-thinking, high-energy individual
    with a sense of humor and ability to work with a wide range of
    personalities and genuine desire to thrive in this role.

Work Environment


Work is performed in an office setting with
exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer,
keyboard, mouse, and multi-line telephone system. The work is primarily a
modern office setting.
