Commercial Sales Estimator (High-Performance Role)

This Is Not an Entry-Level Estimating Role


We are looking for a proven Commercial Sales Estimator who knows how to win work, price it right, and drive revenue

If you’ve built estimates, chased bids, and closed real commercial painting projects, keep reading.

What You’ll Do

• Hunt and develop new commercial painting opportunities
• Walk jobs, break down scope, and build accurate, competitive estimates
• Bid from plans, specs, and real-world site conditions
• Build relationships with GCs, property managers, and decision-makers
• Close deals — not just send bids
• Own your pipeline and consistently drive revenue growth
• Deliver work that hits margin targets, not just volume

What We Expect (Non-Negotiable)

• 3+ years of COMMERCIAL painting estimating experience
• You understand:
  • Production rates
  • Labor burden & job costing
  • Coatings systems & surface prep
• You’ve bid and WON commercial work
• You’re comfortable being accountable to numbers and results
• You don’t need hand-holding — you execute

• You’ve worked with plans & specs regularly
• You’ve built relationships with GCs or property managers
• You know how to balance competitiveness vs. profitability
• You take pride in closing, not quoting

Compensation (Built for Producers)

• Base salary + strong performance-based commission
• High upside for closers
