Commercial Roofing Estimator

Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma

Salary: $80,000–$100,000 Base Salary (DOE)

The Opportunity

An established commercial roofing contractor in Tulsa, Oklahoma, is looking for an experienced Commercial Roofing Estimator to join its team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong understanding of commercial roofing systems who enjoys the technical side of estimating, working with project teams, and developing accurate, competitive bids.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on commercial roofing knowledge, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage estimates from initial takeoff through final proposal.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates for commercial roofing projects, including new construction, re-roofing, and restoration.
• Review blueprints, specifications, drawings, and bid documents.
• Perform material takeoffs and calculate labor, equipment, and project costs.
• Develop competitive bids and proposals while maintaining profitability.
• Work with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain accurate pricing.
• Collaborate with project managers, operations, and sales teams.
• Identify potential project challenges, scope gaps, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Maintain organized estimating records and meet bid deadlines.

What We're Looking For

• Previous estimating experience within the commercial roofing industry. Experience with EDGE.
• Strong knowledge of low-slope roofing systems, including TPO, PVC, EPDM, modified bitumen, and related materials.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Experience with estimating software such as EDGE, Bluebeam, or similar programs is an asset.
• Strong understanding of commercial roofing labor, materials, and installation methods.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and communication.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with an established team.

Compensation & Opportunity

• Base Salary: $80,000–$100,000, depending on experience.
