In this role, you'll:


Deliver high-impact insights into financial and operational performance to shape strategies that drive revenue growth and improve profitability. You will work closely with the Commercial Revenue team and key stakeholders to uncover performance trends, develop reporting, and support decision-making.

•Analyse and optimise existing revenue streams, collaborating with stakeholders across multiple business areas
•Develop and maintain reporting and dashboards to track financial and operational performance
•Translate data into actionable insights on key revenue drivers, risks, and opportunities
•Conduct ad hoc analysis to support strategic and commercial decision-making
•Establish and monitor KPIs and financial targets
•Build financial models and scenario analyses to inform business decisions
•Interpret contractual and commercial terms and reflect these in performance reporting

This role is a 12-month fixed-term, full-time contract till 2/07/2027 based at 231 Elizabeth Street, with hybrid working arrangements offered.

About you


•Proven experience in financial or commercial analysis within a large, complex organisation (transport, infrastructure or government preferred)
•Advanced Excel skills are essential, with strong financial modelling and data analysis capability
•Experience developing dashboards, reports, and performance insights
•Exposure to SQL or similar data tools (desirable)
•Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to think critically and solve problems
•Demonstrated ability to interpret contractual and commercial terms in a financial context
•Excellent communication skills, with experience engaging and influencing stakeholders
•Relevant tertiary qualifications in Finance, Commerce, Business, Economics, or equivalent experience
