
The primary duty of the Commercial Relationship Manager is to build relationships with commercial customers of the Bank for the purpose of providing advice and recommendations on the customer’s operational financial management, including cash flow, investments, available banking products, meeting lending needs, examining, evaluating and approving lines of credit and providing overall financial advice to the commercial customer.

Protect the Bank and customer information; knowledge of customers and their relationship with the Bank must be kept in absolute confidence.

Represent Farmers & Merchants Bank professionally and courteously while in contact with the public either in person or by telephone. Serves as a Bank representative in business, civic and community organizations to promote bank services.
Continue training/knowledge thru seminars and classes as available.
Other responsibilities as determined by management.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or other related field. Four or more years of lending and bank management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Ability to analyze and organize financial information and perform complex financial calculations.
Detailed knowledge of lending regulations, lien laws, collection/bankruptcy regulations and loan documentation.
Expert knowledge of real estate field, including appraisals, deeds and lien recording.
Proficient computer skills.
Present a professional image in dealing with customers and employees.
Willingness to travel to customer prospect facilities for business development or to conduct inspections.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently and accurately in an atmosphere of frequent interruptions
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must possess a current driver's license. Occasional travel required.
Registered with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry as a mortgage loan originator in accordance with the Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act (SAFE Act) or becomes registered.
MENTAL/PHYSICAL DEMANDS/ WORK ENVIRONMENT
May be required to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time while performing job duties.
Give and ensures detailed instructions are followed.
Must possess analytical skills and be able to concentrate for extended periods of time.
