Our award-winning client is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to join their team.Join our well-respected law firm in Baton Rouge, LA as a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal! You'll work closely with our Business practice group attorneys, supporting complex commercial real estate and corporate transactions. This is a full-time, on-site role offering a competitive salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with all aspects of commercial real estate and corporate transactions, from pre-closing to post-closing.
• Prepare closing documents, disbursement statements, and title policies.
• Analyze real estate documents, legal descriptions, and surveys.
• Oversee closing binder preparation and address post-closing matters.
• Draft UCC financing statements, contracts, financial documents, resolutions, and corporate documents.
• Maintain strong communication with external parties to ensure smooth and efficient closings.
• Manage deadlines and meet position billing requirements.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required, with a preference for a four-year degree or paralegal studies certificate (experience may be substituted).
• 3-5 years of paralegal experience in a business/corporate environment preferred.
• Excellent computer skills with proficiency in MS Office Suite and a document management system.
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
• Top-notch proofreading abilities.
• Experience using electronic legal resources and support software a plus.
