
Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick has an opportunity for a real estate attorney with a minimum of 3 years of commercial experience to engage in sophisticated and challenging real estate legal work for clients in Ohio and nationwide.
The position will focus on negotiating and drafting commercial real estate documents, including (but not limited to) purchase agreements, commercial leases, easements, and land use documents. Ideal candidates will have experience with conducting due diligence such as title, survey, and zoning review. Familiarity with real estate financing and experience in construction-related real estate matters is a plus.
While this search is for a full-time position, candidates who have applicable experience and who are looking for a reduced billable workload and/or flexible schedule are also encouraged to apply and will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Where You’ll Work
This position can sit in any of the following offices: Toledo, Columbus, or Akron, Ohio, or be remote within Ohio with occasional travel to the Toledo or Columbus office.
