Job Description

The Guinness Partnership has a new opportunity for a Commercial Property Manager to join our team, initially for a six-month fixed-term contract.

About the role

We are looking for a proactive and commercially minded individual to join our Commercial Property team, managing a diverse portfolio of commercial assets, helping us maximise their value.

In this role, you will take ownership of a varied property portfolio - ensuring full compliance with legal, financial, and safety requirements while driving income generation.

This is a fantastic opportunity to combine strategic thinking with hands-on delivery. You will be preparing insightful papers and recommendations for the Guinness Board, while also overseeing the full commercial lettings process from start to finish. Along the way, you will maintain accurate records, build strong relationships as the main point of contact for tenants, and collaborate closely with internal teams and external agents to keep agreements moving forward smoothly.

This is an agile-based position requiring travel across the South West; so you will need a full UK driving licence and access to your own car.

What we are looking for

We know that how we work is just as important as what we achieve. You will bring energy, and a commitment to high-quality customer service, along with strong critical thinking skills and the ability to analyse situations and make well-judged decisions. You will have the confidence to collaborate, build strong relationships and continuously improve outcomes.

Essential skills & experience

  • Experience working in a property or asset management environment with excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and codes (landlord & tenant, health & safety, RICS commercial service charge code).
  • Ability to interpret and apply lease and contractual provisions accurately.
  • Proven experience managing health & safety compliance.
  • Excellent customer service and stakeholder management skills, with experience handling diverse and high-volume enquiries.
  • Strong negotiation and assertiveness skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex information clearly to colleagues at all levels.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Essential qualifications

  • Degree-level education (Level 6) or equivalent.
