Your Role – Impactful, Meaningful And Future-Oriented

The Commercial Project Professional supports the Commercial Project Manager in ensuring that all commercial and legal aspects of complex projects are executed on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with required quality standards. In this role, the incumbent adheres to Mobility and Siemens policies, guidelines, and regulations, ensuring that these, along with project-specific processes, are consistently applied. The Commercial Project Professional is authorized to request relevant project information from all involved onshore and offshore organizational units and is responsible for ensuring the completeness, accuracy, and reliability of project data.

Organizational Project Set-Up

  • Support the setup of projects in commercial systems and ensure accurate basic data entry
  • Assist in maintaining customer relationship data and documentation
  • Verify that project structures are correctly reflected in internal tools
  • Support the setup of cross-company controlling and reporting frameworks
  • Assist in gathering and organizing financial and balance sheet–related information

Cross-Company coordination

  • Support coordination between involved entities to ensure consistency of project financial data
  • Assist in consolidating and preparing project figures across entities
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders on basic legal, tax, and insurance matters
  • Support tracking and documentation of internal and external claims

Project Controlling

  • Assurance of the correctness, consistency and transparency of the overall project's financial status
  • Handle internal project controlling process
  • Oversee order entry calculation, concurrent costing and final costing
  • Manage asset, cash flow, and the correct allocation and monitoring of costs
  • Prepare invoices and follow-up on payment claims
  • Set up the cross-company controlling and reporting system for the project
  • Determination of the cross-company exchange of balance-sheet information
  • Consolidation and analysis of project figures across all company boundaries and accounting units

Project Reporting

  • Prepare regular project reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders
  • Support consolidation of data for management reporting
  • Ensure proper documentation in line with internal guidelines and compliance requirements

Contract Management

  • Support review and administration of contracts with customers, subcontractors, and partners
  • Assist in maintaining contract documentation and tracking key obligations
  • Support basic contract analysis and interpretation under guidance

Claim and change order management

  • Assist in tracking and documenting claims and variation orders
  • Support preparation of documentation related to scope, cost, or schedule changes
  • Coordinate internally to gather inputs for claims and change requests

Opportunity and risk management

  • Support identification and documentation of project risks and opportunities
  • Assist in maintaining risk registers and tracking mitigation actions
  • Contribute to basic financial assessment of risks under supervision

Your Qualifications And Skills – Digital And Solid

  • University Degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent
  • Project Management Certification is a plus
  • Commercial Experience in international Project Execution
  • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office Programs
  • Knowledge in SAP
