We are looking for a Commercial Project Manager to join our Smart Infrastructure Electrification and Automation business unit.

In this role, you will work broadly as a commercial partner for project managers, ensuring financial transparency and supporting decision-making through various analyses.

You will be responsible for the financial monitoring and reporting of customer projects, as well as tracking and developing commercial processes in close collaboration with the finance team responsible for controlling, order management, procurement, and logistics. You will keep transparent communication flow with internal and external stakeholders. For the selected cases you will be involved overseeing all financial and commercial activities from bid preparation to contract negotiation in order to ensure that financial objectives align with strategic goals while maintaining strict adherence to internal policies and external regulations.

Your main responsibilities

  • Financial analysis and reporting of projects and orders
  • Monitoring volumes, costs, and margins, and updating forecasts in various systems
  • KPI analysis and reporting
  • Support invoicing processes and accounts receivable follow-up
  • Acting as a commercial partner to project managers and sales team
  • Developing commercial processes together with different stakeholders
  • Monitor compliance with contractual obligations and commercial terms.
  • Identify, assess, and escalate commercial risks and opportunities
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Commercial Project Managers, Procurement, Legal, Tax, Accounting, and Business Administration teams.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in economics, Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Master's degree represents an advantage.

Experience

  • 2-4 years of experience in commercial project management, project controlling or a similar role.

Technical Skills

  • Knowledge of financial analysis and controlling principles.
  • SAP experience (SAP FI/CO, MM, SD etc.) is preferred.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and PowerBi.
  • Understanding of project management methodologies.

Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach.
  • High level of integrity and compliance awareness.

Languages

  • Fluent Romanian and English (written and spoken).
