Commercial Policy Analyst

London | Working from home up to 40% possible | Reference 7859

Do you want to work at the intersection of pricing strategy, governance, and execution in a highly cross-functional environment? Are you interested in shaping how commercial decisions are governed, executed, and scaled across a global financial information business?

The Commercial Policy Analyst role sits within SIX Financial Information and acts as the central authority for commercial policy execution. The role owns and drives two critical enterprise-wide programmes: Commercial Product Launch Governance and the Annual Fee Increase Programme.

Working closely with Product Management, Sales, Customer Administration, Finance, and Exchange Administration, the role ensures that pricing initiatives are consistent, transparent, policy-compliant, and operationally scalable. The team’s goal is to protect revenue integrity while enabling disciplined growth through clear rules, structured governance, and continuous process improvement.

In this position, you will combine analytical rigor, stakeholder coordination, and ownership mindset to turn complex pricing logic into clear, enforceable, and auditable commercial execution.

What You Will Do

  • own and continuously improve the Commercial Product Launch Governance process, covering pricing launches, modifications, and retirements
  • act as the central policy authority and escalation point for pricing rules, minimum fees, discountability, counting methods, and contractual implications
  • lead the end-to-end Annual Fee Increase Programme, including planning, coordination, execution, and post-implementation review
  • maintain and evolve commercial policy documentation, ensuring alignment with strategy, tools, and operational reality
  • drive process simplification, automation, and AI-enabled tooling to improve transparency, consistency, and execution discipline

What You Bring

  • proven experience in commercial policy, pricing, commercial operations, or business analysis within a complex organisation
  • strong analytical capability, including advanced Excel skills and experience with pricing calculators, CPQ-type tools, or reporting solutions
  • demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional programmes with multiple stakeholders and dependencies
  • clear, structured communication skills, with confidence engaging both operational teams and senior management
  • interest in and working knowledge of enterprise-grade AI tools (e.g. Microsoft Copilot) and their application within governed commercial processes
  • fluency in English
