The Brisbane Broncos are seeking a Commercial Partnerships Lead to manage and grow a portfolio of key commercial partners, delivering innovative partnership solutions that create value for both partners and our brand. As a senior member of the Partnerships team, the role will also provide day-to-day operational support and guidance to the team, working closely with the Head of Partnerships to ensure consistent and effective partnership delivery.
How you can play a part
Reporting to the Head of Partnerships, this is a senior, hands-on commercial role responsible for leading high-value partner relationships and developing and delivering integrated partnership solutions across the Club’s platforms, content, events and audience channels.
This will include:
- Managing a portfolio of major and strategic commercial partners
- Building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across partner organisations
- Developing partnership plans for assigned partners, aligned with partner objectives and the Club's broader partnership strategy.
- Maintaining premium servicing standards across all partnership activity and touchpoints
- Identifying and progressing upsell, leveraging, renewal and broader commercial growth opportunities
- Contributing to sponsorship revenue growth, partner retention and long-term portfolio value
- Developing integrated partnership concepts and commercially focused solutions
- Supporting new business proposals, pitches and the onboarding of new partners
- Provide specialist expertise in digital partnership opportunities, supporting the team and developing digitally focused solutions for partners across Broncos-owned platforms. Working closely with Marketing, Digital and Content teams to create branded content, social media and audience engagement opportunities
- Leading the end-to-end delivery of partnership campaigns and activations across game days, events, community initiatives and digital channels
- Using audience, campaign and engagement insights to demonstrate partner value and return on investment
- Delivering partnership reporting, performance analysis and recommendations to enhance partner outcomes
- Collaborating across the Club to maximise commercial outcomes and ensure partner activity is effectively integrated
- Identifying and recommending emerging opportunities across digital, content and fan engagement to enhance partner outcomes.
- Provide day-to-day operational support and guidance to Partnerships team members, helping resolve servicing and delivery matters and escalating strategic or significant issues to the Head of Partnerships where required.
- Share knowledge, best practice and commercial expertise across the team to support consistent, high-quality partnership delivery.
To be considered
To be considered for this opportunity you will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in business, marketing, communications or a related discipline
- A minimum of five years’ experience in commercial partnerships, sponsorship, marketing or senior account management, ideally within sport or another fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated experience managing high-value commercial partnerships and senior stakeholder relationships
- A proven track record delivering integrated partnership campaigns, activations, branded content and digital engagement initiatives
- Strong commercial acumen, including the ability to identify and progress growth, leveraging, renewal and revenue opportunities
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to influence senior stakeholders
- Strong organisation and project management capability, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines and stakeholders
- A proactive, collaborative and accountable approach, supported by strong attention to detail, sound judgement, digital capability and a passion for sport and fan engagement.
This is a full-time role requiring a high degree of flexibility. Evening and weekend work will be required around Brisbane Broncos game days, partner activations and Club events.
