Commercial Partnership Manager, CLS EMEA

Role Purpose

The Commercial Partnership Manager executes and follow up on strategic plans that are measurable and mutally accountable. Connecting with key business executives and stakeholders, the sales and channels specialists will ensure professional handling of commercial matters as well as the timely and successful delivery of solutions from the cross-functional stakeholders of CLS. The Commercial Partnership Manager will be responsible for developing and leveraging distributor partner relationships, negotiating contracts, and coordinating with segment managers to achieve quarterly and yearly corporate objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Academic Industry channel partners to ensure an execution of the plans defined to achieve quarterly and yearly objectives.
  • Partner and collaborate with the key Academic Industry dealers assigned to implement strategic tactical plans and align communication to get the best engagement from these key dealers.
  • Drive execution of Academic Industry dealers to support growth of non-focus accounts. Create annual and quarterly business plans, monitor account health and proactively address risks or gaps.
  • Support execution Vital Few scorecards with regional sales manager for a more differentiated performance in a collaborative and a mutually valued partnership.
  • Associated with the regional sales managers to reinforce the execution of the EMEA academic industrial initiatives.
  • Be the key point of contact for our regionals dealers implementing the agreed initiatives driving the cross functional resources needed to differentiate CLS positioning on the academic industry segment.
  • Support tender management activity for academic industrial segment: cross reference, pricing management, sample shipments. Monitor tender execution for developing new CLS business.
  • Share business intelligence on competitive products, technologies and distribution trends.
  • Align and influence marketing plans through selected distributors via their annual execution plan.
  • Key point of contact for our key dealers implementing the agreed marketing initiatives driving the cross functional resources needed, including coordinating collaborative events, and tracking outcomes to review revenue effectiveness.
  • Support regional sales managers in quarterly business reviews with selected channel partners.
  • Connect regularly with global counterparts for Academic Industry segment distributors.
  • Support communication of the road map progress to internal and external stakeholders.

Experiences/Education - Required

  • BSc Degree Sales, Marketing, Communication, Finance, Business.
  • 5+ year experience in a commercial/sales function required.
  • 5+ year experience working in a business environment in which products are sold through Distribution and in a Direct channel model.
  • Ability to develop and implement a successful segment strategy for the channel, aligned with division 5-year plan.
  • Tracking record in developing business through third party partners.
  • Strong influencing and communication skillset.
  • Strong business acumen that supports relationship management with Distribution channels (including financial insight) including a solid business analytical skillset.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, internally and externally.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 40%.
