AVL Hungary Kft. offers a job in Hungary (HU) as

Commercial Order Processing (using SAP)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end commercial handling of customer orders, ensuring operational excellence and compliance across all process steps:

Commercial Order Processing (using SAP)

• Review offers, contracts, and customer orders for completeness, and correctness.
• Enter and process orders in SAP (SD/PS) including delivery-oriented and billing plan orders.
• Handle the data exchange with our Sales Affiliate through SAP-IDoc.
• Maintain delivery dates and milestones for accurate Sales forecasting
• Ensure high‑quality master data across all relevant systems
• Prepare orders for billing in line with Austrian GAAP and tax requirements
• Contribute to cash and risk management
• Preparation of export/import documents and follow up shipping releases

Compliance & Tax

• Coordinate VAT assessments and correct usage of tax codes
• Ensure adherence to export control requirements and manage related documentation

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Act as a central interface between Sales, Project Management, Order Management, Logistics, Export Compliance and our Sales Affiliates.
• Communicate proactively with AVL affiliates and customers regarding end-to-end commercial topics

Forecasting & Performance Transparency

• Maintain backlog and billing dates to support SBU forecasting
• Ensure data consistency in SAP

REQUIREMENTS:

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience in order processing, order management, commercial operations, logistics administration, or a related field
• Confident handling of SAP SD/PS, including master data maintenance.
• Knowledge in SAP IDoc processing is an advantage
• Knowledge of Incoterms, payment terms, export/import fundamentals, and VAT scenarios.
• Experience with export compliance topics is an advantage

Skills & Competencies

• Strong process orientation and attention to detail
• Ability to manage workflows, documentation, and cross-functional communication
• Customer-focused mindset with the ability to handle complex cases
• Fluent English skills in (spoken and written) (C1 level or equivalent)
• German proficiency is an advantage
• Confident use of MS Office
