Are you passionate about transforming commercial performance through data, systems, and sales excellence?

We are looking for a Commercial Operations & Sales Excellence Manager to play a key role in developing and optimizing Novo Nordisk Pharmatech's commercial systems and processes. With Salesforce at the core, you will help ensure that our commercial organization has the data, tools, insights, and capabilities needed to drive performance and support future growth.

The Position

As our new Commercial Operations & Sales Excellence Manager, you will serve as a key enabler for the commercial organization by ensuring that our systems, data, reporting capabilities, and commercial processes support business growth and operational excellence.

A key responsibility will be owning and further developing Novo Nordisk Pharmatech's Salesforce ecosystem. Salesforce is a critical business platform supporting not only our commercial teams, but also finance reporting, executive business oversight, customer management, and commercial performance monitoring. As such, this role carries significant business impact and visibility across the organization.

Working closely with the Global Head of Launch Office & Commercial Excellence and stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, IT, and Business Support, you will translate business needs into scalable system solutions while driving continuous commercial improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial Operations & Salesforce Ownership

  • Own and further develop the Salesforce platform and related commercial systems
  • Maintain and optimize data structures, reporting capabilities, workflows, dashboards, and integrations
  • Troubleshoot data quality, reporting, and system-related challenges while identifying root causes and sustainable solutions
  • Translate business needs into system improvements and functionality enhancements
  • Ensure data integrity, governance, and consistency across commercial processes
  • Drive commercial reporting and performance insights through Salesforce, Tableau, Excel, and other analytical tools
  • Support forecasting, pipeline visibility, and commercial performance management
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses and deliver actionable recommendations to commercial leadership

Sales Excellence & Enablement

  • Lead the development and optimization of sales processes and ways of working
  • Support implementation of sales methodologies and best practices
  • Drive adoption of commercial tools and processes across the organization
  • Design and facilitate training initiatives that strengthen sales capabilities
  • Develop KPI frameworks and performance metrics to support continuous improvement
  • Co-create commercial content and enablement materials that support sales execution across multiple channels

Qualifications

We are looking for a commercially minded and analytically strong professional who enjoys combining technology, data, and business improvement to drive commercial success.

To succeed in this role, we imagine that you have:

Required

  • Master's degree in Business, Commercial Management, Analytics, Information Systems, or related field
  • Several years of experience working with Salesforce administration, commercial operations, CRM management, or a similar commercial systems role
  • Hands-on experience owning, maintaining, and developing Salesforce beyond end-user level
  • Solid understanding of Salesforce architecture, configuration, reporting structures, data models, and integrations
  • Experience working in a B2B environment
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to transform complex data into actionable business insights
  • Experience working within a larger organization where governance, cross-functional collaboration, and structured processes are important
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Preferred

  • Experience with Sales Excellence, sales enablement, or commercial capability development
  • Experience optimizing commercial and sales processes
  • Experience with training, change management, and user adoption initiatives
  • Experience with Tableau, Power BI, Excel, or similar data visualization tools

Salary and benefits

Salary For this role, the annual base salary ranges from DKK 650.960 to 956.860.00, depending on your experience and competencies.

Incentives and benefits The package may include short- and/or long-term incentives as well as additional employee benefits, aligned with the position level, location, and market benchmarks.
