Job Description

We are excited to be recruiting for a Retail Operations Executive, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our retail stores, ensuring that they run smoothly and efficiently. You will work closely with store managers and staff to implement strategies that enhance customer satisfaction, drive sales, and optimize operational processes.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and support retail store operations to ensure high standards of customer service and operational efficiency.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve store performance.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with supply chain teams to ensure timely replenishment of stock.
• Collaborate with marketing and merchandising teams to execute promotional campaigns and product launches.
• Train and mentor store managers and staff to enhance their skills and performance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and industry standards.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in retail operations management, preferably in a supervisory or executive role.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in retail management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

GLOBAL AND NORTH AMERICAN EDUCATION PARTNERSHIP

  • Represent the Canadian market on all Global Education lead/director's calls
  • Primary liaison between the Canadian and the Global & North American Education Teams
  • Cascade & localize all key seasonal educational documents/presentations from the Global Education team and cascade all relevant information to the FETM's and internal team

LOCAL EDUCATION AND FETM PARTNERSHIP

  • Responsible for the localization of all educational collateral/assets provided by Global team for the Canadian market, to ensure that all created and curated content is regionally relevant and meaningful
  • Produce seasonal educational tools and collateral with third party vendors
  • Collaborate with branded FETM's on all education requests and needs, primary contact between FETMs and Marketing Team

DIGITAL/E⁃LEARNING PLATFORM MANAGEMENT

  • Support and execute all aspects of the digital learning journey/ELX internal digital education platform and functionality, including content, translation, uploads into Articulate, maintenance and optimizations
  • Produce, project manage and provide all educational content for key retailer e⁃learning platforms
  • Responsible for translations needed for all educational materials (print/digital)
  • Responsible for ensuring all digital educational tools (virtual try on, skin analysis) are up⁃to⁃date and optimized for local Canadian teams/consumers needs

EVENTING

  • Support seasonal event concepts, activations and objectives to align with brand priorities
  • Build and maintain seasonal events by retailer, focused on brand pillars, specific retailer needs and driving a strong ROI
  • Source, order and coordinate collateral elements for on time delivery to support event needs
  • Support the execution of all Global Pro Artist Masterclasses
  • Support the execution of all Sephora brand activations: submit pitch, create assets/collateral, communicate to field, send TOA's/GWPS
  • Maintain competitive analysis to ensure brand elevation in market

BUDGET

  • Support monthly budget reconciliation: contributing to monthly review with finance

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree required.
  • 3⁃5 years relevant work experience in the cosmetic industry.
  • Must be an excellent team player with the ability to build, foster and nurture relationships with members of the North America Marketing team and cross⁃functional teams.
  • Must be highly organized and detail⁃oriented, with a strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with unprompted follow⁃through.
  • Digital and social media skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communications.
