Role/Team overview

This role supports the delivery of compliant commercial advertising schedules across Sky Media’s linear TV channels. Scheduling and downloading spot schedules, checking adverts follow industry regulations and platform rules. Working closely with internal teams, media partners and offshore operations, the Commercial Operations Assistant helps manage scheduling accuracy, regulatory compliance, issue resolution and day-to-day operational delivery in a fast-paced advertising environment.

We’re currently hiring for two Fixed-Term Contract positions within the team, both running until September 2027.

What you’ll do

  • Curate linear TV & sponsorship schedules compliant with regulatory requirements
  • Communicating with clients & advertisers regarding commercial delivery, commercial ordering and platform rules & regulations.
  • Provide administrative and operational assistance

What you’ll bring

Essential criteria:

  • Confidence using or learning systems such as Landmark, BSS, Caria and related scheduling/compliance tools.
  • Strong ability to manage high-volume, time-sensitive work accurately with strong problem-solving and issue-management skills, especially when dealing with last-minute escalations.
  • Confident working in a fast-paced operational environment

Desirable skills and experience:

  • A good understanding of advertising compliance rules, including ASA, Ofcom and Clearcast requirements.
  • Experience or awareness of TV advertising operations, scheduling, clearance or transmission workflows.
  • Familiarity with Landmark, BSS, Caria and scheduling systems.
  • Interpersonal skills – optimally communicating, building rapport. Comfortable working with people at all levels within Sky Media.

How you’ll work

We've adopted a hybrid working approach to give more flexibility on where and how we work. The hybrid working expectations for this role are 3 days in the office per week.
