• Salary Banding - $167,000 to $200,000 per annum.
• Experience within a regulated Financial Services environment is desirable.

The Role

The ClearScore Commercial Team is responsible for the monetisation of the ClearScore platform through B2B partnerships with many innovative financial service providers in Australia and New Zealand. ClearScore is searching for an experienced Commercial Manager to join our incredible team.

The Commercial Manager will be a driver of revenue performance for our business and responsible for the management and monetisation of our lender partnerships. This is a highly cross functional, fast paced role where you are expected to problem solve, bring your ideas to the table and collaborate with teams across disciplines to capitalise on commercial opportunities. As well as acting as the voice of the partner and providing market expertise to internal & external stakeholders, you will bring a strong analytical skill set, an entrepreneurial attitude, a consultative approach with an inherent bias for proactivity.

The Commercial Manager will support the Commercial Lead through the management of a pipeline of projects and strategic partnerships within our core verticals

What will you do:

• Run the commercial function for the AU business and ensure we meet the budget plan for the year
• Shape and execute commercial strategy to help ClearScore maintain competitiveness over other aggregators in the market, to capture new revenue opportunities across ClearScore’s key verticals
• Accountable for all performance metrics against loans partnerships and increasing ClearScore’s Share of Wallet
• Negotiate new and existing commercial agreements and manage contractual paperwork
• Working closely with the product team and partners on continuous optimisation of the product and the conversion funnel, you will manage commercial relationships with existing partners, as well as negotiate deals with new partners.
• You will also dive deep into our platform’s rich data to derive key business and new initiative insights, produce reports and spot trends, converting them into actions that help our users and partners
• Responsible for the performance and day to day management of 2 commercial executive members who will support you across the management of the partner set.

You're a fit for the role if you present most of the following:

• At least 7+ years of work experience with a good track record at work and in academia
• Previous experience in a commercial role within the financial services is desirable but not mandatory
• Passion and enthusiasm for the problems we are solving, and an ability to use creativity and initiative in pursuit ofthese goals
• Being comfortable with ambiguity and being ready to take on a lot of responsibility quickly
• Data-driven decision making and a strong analytical mind-set is required — with an ability to interpret insights, identify trends or spot anomalies and define the drivers to translate them into action
• Previous work experience in any of the following would be interesting:
  • Management Consulting
  • A relationship focused client-facing environment such as partner / account management
  • Relevant work in a consumer finance, fintech or B2B tech company
